Abstract visualisation of a fragmenting society

Impact in a society reinventing itself

That our lifeworlds are fragmenting and personalising at a rapid pace is one of the most tangible consequences of the epochal shift. Against this backdrop, the question of societal impact poses itself entirely anew: what does impact mean when we no longer form a shared whole?

What people experience today as effective or meaningful is shaped by their respective reality. Societal impact is therefore no longer an objective measure against which all actors can be assessed. For organisations, politics and social institutions, this creates a fundamental challenge: how can different realities be made connectable in order to preserve collective capacity to act?

This keynote gives decision-makers the intellectual toolkit to turn impact from a normative goal into a strategic resource – and to navigate a future with AI with confidence.
